Margaret Mitchell's Gone with the Wind has become the focus of studies of many scholars since its publication. Eco-feminists point out that nature and females are intertwined and closely related and whose links invlove symbolic link, experiential link and status link. Based on the theoretical foundation and through the exploration of Gone with the Wind in detail, this book attempted to study the close relationship between nature and females in Gone with the wind. The three kinds of links (symbolic, experiential, status) in Gone with the Wind were presented and the mutual dependence between nature and females—females are caretakers of nature while nature is the haven for females--was also described. Gone with the Wind should be taken as a potential target of Eco-feministic studies.
