Taiwan is home to many indigenous peoples. It is intriguing to see quite a few common grounds between Taiwanese and American Native peoples. Many of them, however, are being plagued with many ill-equipped living conditions. I do hope this book can evoke more empathy and more humanitarian aid for people who are displaced and dispossessed.
